Thank you for shopping with Subie Shop!

Our policy lasts 30 days from the date of delivery. If 30 days have gone by, unfortunately, we can’t offer you a refund or exchange.

🛠️ Eligibility for Returns

To be eligible for a return:

  • The item must be unused, uninstalled, and in the same condition that you received it.

  • It must be in the original packaging.

  • You must provide proof of purchase (e.g., order number).

  • Returns must be approved by our team before sending the item back.

Items that are installed, altered, damaged due to incorrect handling, or returned without approval are not eligible for refund or exchange.

⚠️ Installation Requirements for Mechanical Items

Any mechanical parts supplied by Subie Shop must be installed by a qualified professional to be eligible for any form of warranty or support. To qualify for warranty coverage:

  • Proof of professional installation is required, along with confirmation that all good installation practices were followed.

  • These practices may include:

    • Flushing and bleeding of cooling systems.

    • Replacing oil and filters, where applicable.

    • Cleaning or removing sumps when replacing parts such as turbochargers, oil pumps, water pumps, or timing kits.

    • General repair or preparation of the engine/vehicle before installing supplied parts.

If you are unsure about what's required for your specific part, please contact us for installation expectations.

Subie Shop is not liable for any labour costs incurred during installation or removal. We are a parts supplier and do not provide installation services. Improper installation or failure to follow expected procedures may void any potential support or warranty.

🧩 Warranties on Second-Hand Mechanical Items

  • Second-hand mechanical parts are not automatically covered by a warranty. Any issues will be handled on a case-by-case basis.

  • Used ECUs are strictly non-refundable due to the complexity of testing once removed from the original vehicle. Every ECU is tested and verified as working prior to listing.

  • Customers purchasing ECUs must engage a qualified auto locksmith to program or pair the unit to their vehicle.

🚫 Non-Returnable Items

Certain items are exempt from being returned:

  • Gift cards

  • Downloadable software

  • Sale items

  • ECUs (Engine Control Units)

  • Sensors (Engine & Other Sensors) - Unless diagnosed to be faulty by a qualified Auto Electrician

 

  • Special order items are not eligible for return or exchange

⚠️ Damage Claims & Shipping Insurance

  • All damages, missing items, or incorrect shipments must be reported within 3 business days of delivery.

  • If damage occurs during shipping and insurance was not purchased at checkout, Subie Shop cannot be held liable.

  • Shipping insurance is optional but highly recommended, particularly for high-value or fragile items.

  • All damages or issues must be reported within 3 business days of delivery. Claims made after this period may not be accepted.

  • If you did not purchase shipping insurance, Subie Shop is not responsible for any loss or damage that occurs during transit.

  • Partial refunds may be granted at our discretion for:

    • Items not in original condition

    • Items with missing parts (not due to our error)

    • Late returns (over 30 days after delivery)

💰 Refunds (If Approved)

If your return is approved:

  • A refund will be issued to your original method of payment within 3–10 business days.

  • Original shipping charges are non-refundable.

  • A 10% restocking fee may apply in some cases.

❌ Sale Items

Only regular-priced items may be refunded. Sale items cannot be refunded.

🔁 Exchanges

We only replace items if they are defective or damaged, and reported within 3 business days of delivery. Please contact us to discuss your specific situation before sending any item back.
